The club is more commonly known as The Garibaldi Club, or as its members call it, "The Baldi."  Originally established in 1913 by Italian immigrants, The Baldi was established to promote harmony and social interaction.  The Baldi was named after Giuseppe Garibaldi who was said to be Italy's most brilliant soldier in the 1800s, during which he was mostly responsible for the unification of Italy.  If you are interested in finding out more information about Giuseppe Garibaldi, click on his name.

Liguria, a province of Italy, is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.  You can click here, to find out information on this Italian province.

The membership now consists of a broad cross-section of many ethnic backgrounds.

The Garibaldi Club hosts events throughout the year for benefactors such as The Garibaldi Scholarship Fund.  Please browse our website for information on Garibaldi Club sponsored events.  Your participant in these events is welcomed and appreciated!  To find events, check out the What's New page.  Thanks for your visit and enjoy!
